Origin

Made was approached by the Australian Indigenous Insurance Group (AIIG) on its recent re-brand. The name Origin Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd was chosen to evolve the brand while paying respectful homage to Australia’s First People. The logo is inspired by the Aboriginal art movement. The small circles represent a daub of paint, a common technique used by Aboriginal artists. The large circle or letter “O”, a metaphor for a growing star, or an explosion and the beginning or origin of everything. Both serif and san serif typography is used to highlight the contrast between the ancient aboriginal culture and the modern business environment in which the company operates.
