Open Market Property Advisory was created to restore balance, a buyer-only advisory protecting clients financially and emotionally through disciplined, evidence-led acquisition. Our brief was to give a young business the authority of an established institution in a category crowded with agents who look and sound alike.
The name contains its own promise: regardless of the method of sale, OMPA opens the market for its clients. We translated this into “Property with Confidence” and six reputation pillars that turn the positioning into an operating standard.
A restrained “OM” monogram and flexible family of lockups give the identity the composure of a private office. Charcoal and Slate Green, softened by Stone Cream and Linen White, move away from the category’s urgency, while editorial typography and natural property photography create a calm, assured tone.
The system was documented in comprehensive brand guidelines and applied across stationery, digital tools, presentations, social, out-of-home and merchandise. The result is a clear, confident brand built around protection, discretion and long-term value.
Part of Australia’s landscape since the early 1900s, Hills had a hundred years of recognition sitting in its mark, but an identity that no longer reflected where the business was heading. The brief wasn’t reinvention; it was evolution. We returned to the original Hills mark and distilled its essentials, the horizontal crossbar, the arcs, the directional forms, reinterpreting them through a contemporary lens.
